ABOUT ME
My name is Braden Eberle. I graduated in 2021 from Leland High School in San Jose, Ca. At the advice of my coaches, I took a gap year for the 2021-2022 seasons to continue my pursuit to play at the collegiate level. Losing the year and a half of playing because of Covid and the NCAA Black Out period this cost me valuable recruiting exposure. During my gap year I played for the De Anza Force Academy MLS Next team. After a very serious injury at the end of last season I was determined to play again. I came back and joined the De Anza College Men's Soccer team in August and I am happy to say I have recovered 100% and have helped my team make it to the playoffs.
I come from a soccer family. I am the 3rd child of 4. My dad was captain of the Cal Bears Men's Soccer team and my mom played at Cal Poly SLO. I have two older brothers that played at a Dl and Dll respectively. My little sister plays for the De Anza Force 05 ECNL team. I have dreamed of playing in college since I started playing at 4 years old.
Hobbies
I look forward to sand soccer every summer. I know I am in shape if I can make it through a full weekend running in the sand. I have participated in the Santa Cruz Pro AM Sand Soccer tournament for over 10 years.
In the winter I enjoy snow skiing. My uncle has worked at Heavenly Valley in Tahoe for 30 years. We have the privilege of skiing with a professional instructor every time we go.
I really enjoy boating and fishing. My favorite vacation is our annual family house boating trip on Shasta Lake. My immediate family of 6, cousins, aunts and uncles all come together for a full week with no internet service. It's true bonding.
